Sea Kayaking Sweden’s Bohuslän Archipelago
Join us on a sea kayaking journey through the Bohuslän archipelago, where thousands of rocky islands and wave-worn skerries scatter Sweden’s wild west coast. Open and accessible by design, this expedition is for paddlers inspired to venture further and experience the rhythm of journeying by sea kayak in a truly wild coastal landscape.
What to expect
Paddling from island to island, we’ll explore this extraordinary seascape by kayak, discovering hidden coves, smooth granite shores and clear salt water far from the crowds.
These scattered chains of offshore islands are a haven for wildlife, with seals, sea birds and quiet island camps woven into the landscape. Bohuslän’s rugged skerries, open horizons and endless granite make it one of Europe’s most memorable places to travel by sea kayak.

Each day brings a new route through this maze of islands, with time to swim, wander and settle into life on the water. Each evening, we’ll wild camp on remote shores and rocky outcrops, cooking together beneath open skies and falling asleep under the stars to the sound of the sea.

On the evening of Day 5, we return to our expedition house for a final night ashore and a chance to relax before departing the following day.
